How Skyfire Accountancy Works
Typically, you will have an experienced accountant as your appointed contact. They’ll probably be the same person who you decided to purchase the service from. However, they probably have very little knowledge of your business finances. Normally they will have a team of people doing most of the work.
At Skyfire, we use modern technology to reduce the need for multiple people to be involved with the service we provide. You will have an experienced accountant dealing with your business on a day to day basis. They will act as your very own finance director would if you had one. They’ll spot opportunities and problems throughout the year, not just when they look at your accounts.
How Are We Different?
Here’s some other ways in which we are different:
- Fixed fees and monthly payments. No surprise bills, ever.
- We spend as long as is needed on working for you, as we don’t have internal time budgets.
- We work with you to improve your bookkeeping records, and show you tips to make it easier.
- We identify technologies that can improve your financial information.
- Most of our documents can be transmitted and approved electronically, so there is no need to wait for the post.
- We review each of our clients annually and give personalised tax planning and business advice.
Who We Work With
We work with small and medium sized business owners, who need something more than a just year-end service.
We work with professional landlords, who either have a property portfolio or our planning to build one.
We are Xero specialists, and most of our clients use Xero. You don’t have to be a Xero user to be our client, but you will get the most out of the service if you do.
As we use electronic communications for much of our service, you should be comfortable with receiving and sending electronic documents.
Our services are billed for monthly over the course of a year and paid for by Direct Debit.
You should be committed to keeping your records up to date and responding to requests in good time. This is so we can spend our time being useful rather than chasing you to meet deadlines.
